Officium liberos viros semper vocabat.
The duty always summoned the free men.
Habebimusne multos viros et feminas magnorum animorum?
Will we have many men and of great courage?
Risks of war are not small, but your fatherland was calling you and the farmers will help.
这局感觉后半句其实很微妙,因为agricolae adiuvabunt理解成the farmers will help和they will help the farmer感觉都是说得通的,只不过后者稍微有点意义不明,所以还是选用了前者。
Propter culpas malorum patria nostra non valebit.
Because of the fault of the evil, our fatherland will not be strong.
Delay was conquering our soul, and we had no cure.
Multi in agris heri manebant et Romanos iuvabant.
Many were staying in the fields yesterday and helped the Romans.
Pauci viri de cura animi cogitabant.
Few men were thinking about cure of spirit.
Propter iram in culpa estis et cras poenas dabitis.
Because of the anger you are at fault, and tomorrow you will pay the penaltis.
因为没有in the fault,还是得翻译成at fault.
Verum otium non habes, vir stulte!
You do not have true peace, foolish man!
Nothing is without fault; we are good if we have a few (faults).
Poeta amicae multas rosas, dona pulchra, et basia dabat.
The poet was giving many roses, beautiful gift, and kiss to (his) (girl)friend.
Will war and destruction always remain in our land?
Remanebuntne bellum et exitium semper in patria nostra?
Remaneo → Remane - bu(bi) - nt - ne.
Does money satisfy the greedy man?
Satiatne pecunia virum avarum?
Satio → Satia - t - ne.
Therefore, you (sg.) will save the reputation of our foolish boys.
Igitur, famam puerorum stultorum nostrorum servabis.
Money and glory were conquering the soul of a good man.
Pecunia et gloria animum boni viri superabat.
